X-Rite 938 Spectrodensitometer

The model 938 hand-held, portable spectrodensitometer combines the full capabilities of a spectrophotometer, colorimeter, and densitometer in a single color measurement instrument. The 938 measures and calculates accurate 31-point spectral data, and converts it into a wide variety of objective color expressions.

Use it to check density and dot area of your process colors and also check L*a*b* values of your special colors too. It is ideal for use with or without color bars in the pressroom, in ink formulation, in prepress facilities or in a testing lab.

The 938 also incorporates our remote "pass/fail" feature. This allows portable measurement and storage of color values, along with their date and time information. Each measurement is compared to one of 24 references, indicating the color variation compared to a pre-set tolerance. Upon interface with QA-Master software, the information can be uploaded for quality reporting.

This is a good place to insert a short paragraph about your organization. It might include the purpose of the organization, its mission, founding date, and a brief history. You can also include a brief list of the types of products, services, or programs your organization offers, the geographic area covered (for example, western U.S. or European markets), and a profile of the types of customers or members served.

It is also useful to include a contact name for readers who want more information about the organization.
